Face-to-Face Communication

Whether it is in person or over video conference, we believe in having a lot of face time with our clients. A substantial portion of our meetings should be done in person rather than over the phone or online. Modern tools do make remote meetings and coordination easier, but there's just no substitute for good old fashioned in-person communication. This creates a better end product and overall relationship.
The largest source of failure for any software project is some amount of communication breakdown. Failure to keep the customer informed on progress or even about complications requiring schedule/budget changes frequently leads to billing disputes and broken relationships. These are all too common in this industry and motivate us to do better. In fact, you’ll find that communication is a common theme in our list of ideologies.
We insist on your involvement at every step of our relationship and have regularly scheduled and frequent meetings allowing us to present a complete status report highlighting recent progress and the effects of any recently added requirements on schedule and budget. It also gives you a chance to provide feedback, request new requirements, change priorities, or anything else. The result is a complete and constant understanding by both parties of where we are and agreement on the way forward.
