History
Latitude 40 was founded on the belief that custom software should exceed modern industry standards.
In the 1990s, Andrew Anderson and Daniel DeLeeuw began their journey consulting and developing software solutions for the horticulture industry, later expanding into other sectors.
Throughout their careers, they encountered numerous clients struggling with incomplete or abandoned projects, facing significant time and financial losses. Even large enterprises weren’t immune, with many projects labeled as “successful” merely for show, leading to further complications and unmet expectations. Another common problem was that solutions, while initially successful, became worthless when they couldn’t adapt to changing business conditions later.
Determined to change this narrative, Latitude 40 was created. Over the years, they have continuously refined their approach in creating adaptable solutions. A pivotal moment came when they discovered that the traditional plan-based model for software management was flawed and was the cause of most software project failures. They realized a better approach would solve this problem as well as transform organizations, making them more nimble and adaptable to changing markets.
